This thing absolutely rips
Chucked the 3000W 72V kit on a Giant Talon 3 and it's stupid fun. Climbs the range like it's flat, still pulling 40+ at the top. 30Ah pack lasts me all day on the trails. Mates can't even tell it's electric til I leave em behind lol. Install was a cruisy Sunday arvo job.
Brought my old hardtail back to life
Had a teal hardtail sitting in the shed so I threw the 1500W kit on it. Came out so clean my mate at the bike shop reckoned it wasn't even a conversion. Commute through the week, trails on the weekend. Took me an arvo with some hex keys, dead easy.
Fat tyres on the beach = unreal
2000W fat-tyre build just floats over the soft sand that bogs everyone else down. Sunrise runs along the dunes are the best, no joke. Easily does a morning loop and back. Most fun I've had on two wheels by a mile.

1500W on my old Merida and now the O'Keefe Rail Trail is a casual Sunday loop instead of a mission. Does the commute all week then 60k of gravel on the weekend without blinking. Install videos got me through it solo in an afternoon.
Survives the wet season, no dramas
Was worried about the FNQ humidity and storms but the 2000W kit has copped six months of wet season and keeps pulling like day one. Connectors sealed up properly, nothing's corroded. Gets me up the Red Arrow hill without breaking a sweat.
Minus 2 mornings and it just goes
Canberra winter commutes are brutal and the 1000W kit starts instantly every frosty morning. Lake loop to work on bike paths the whole way. Range dips a bit in the cold like they say it will, but it's honest about it and still gets me there and back twice over.
Handles the build-up heat fine
2000W in Darwin heat, ridden hard through the build-up. Motor doesn't care, controller stays cooler than I expected. Only reason it's not 5 stars is the controller bag zip gave up after a few months in the humidity - replacement was cheap and support sorted me quick.
Farm hack that replaced the quad
Chuck the 3000W bike on the back paddocks for checking troughs and fences and it's honestly quicker than getting the quad out. Handles dirt tracks, tows a little trailer, charges off the shed solar. Best money I've spent on the farm in years.
Closest thing to my old dirt bike
Came from petrol dirt bikes and the 5000W is the first electric thing that didn't feel like a toy. Margs trails, steep loose climbs, it just hooks up and goes. Quiet enough that I'm not annoying anyone either. Properly impressed.
First e-bike, couldn't be easier
Never done a conversion before and had the 750W kit running in a couple of hours with basic tools. Instructions are actually written for humans. Now I ride to work more than I drive. Should've done this two years ago.

Ride from Merewether to uni every day on the 1000W and rock up not needing a shower, which the old pushie could never manage. Locks up outside lectures looking like a normal bike. Battery does the whole week on two charges.

Ridiculous power, buy the big battery
5000W on the property tracks is absurd fun, wheelies on tap if you're silly with the throttle. Only tip is don't cheap out on the battery - I started with the smaller pack and upgraded within a month because I kept wanting to ride further. Kit itself is faultless.
Light kit, beachside cruiser perfection
Wanted assist, not a motorbike, and the 500W is exactly that. Coast path from Glenelg into the city with a tailwind feeling both ways. Kit's light enough that the bike still rides like a bike when the battery's off. Love it.
Cold country climbs, zero complaints
Orange winters are proper cold and the hills out here are long. 3000W 72V pulls the Pinnacle climb frosty or not. Did the maths against a dealer e-bike with half the grunt and this was less than half the price. Easy call.
