• The motor kit and battery ship separately due to packaging and carrier requirements

• Yes both are sold separately and required for a full setup

• Our kits fit hardtail mountain bikes, hybrid bikes, and city or road bikes
• Your frame must have 135mm rear open-slotted dropouts (new models such as Trek Marlin 7 Gen 3 have closed dropouts as opposed to Trek Marlin 7 Gen 2 having open dropouts)
• Alloy or steel frames are recommended
• Carbon frames are not recommended due to cracking risk

• 250W to 3000W motors support 135mm dropouts (150mm option available email us after purchase)
• 5000W motors support 150mm dropouts (170mm option available email us after purchase)
• Kits are water resistant not waterproof

• The MTX motor hub is designed for threaded freewheels not modern spline-style cassettes
• If your bike uses a spline-style cassette (common on newer bikes) you’ll need to replace it with a threaded freewheel which is a very cheap and easy fix

• Yes the kit is plug and play with basic tools

Tools you’ll need:
• Allen key set
• Adjustable wrench or spanner
• Phillips head screwdriver
• Cable ties (provided)
• Torque arm wrench or socket
• Chain whip & cassette tool (if reusing your old cassette)
• Electrical tape or heat shrink (optional)
• Tire levers & floor pump

• If unsure we recommend getting help from a local bike technician

• Beginner: 1 to 3 hours — you may need to follow video guides
• Experienced: Around 30 minutes with basic bike tool knowledge
We provide full instructions and after-purchase support until your build is complete from A to Z

• Full twist throttle is included by default
Email us after purchase if you prefer half twist or thumb throttle instead

• Triangle batteries in 48V, 52V, and 72V
• Downtube batteries in 36V, 48V and 52V
All batteries come with XT60 connectors and includes a charger

• Yes your frame must have space inside the main triangle
Tip: Measure your available space and compare it to battery dimensions listed

• Refer to motor and battery listing to view compatible and suggested battery options

• Up to 5 years with proper care
• Rated for 1200+ charge cycles

• Always use included charger only third-party charger may void warranty
• Avoid fully draining the battery recharge at ~10 to 20 percent this helps with longevity
• Do not overcharge unplug once 100 percent charged red light will turn green
• Store in a cool dry place (avoid extreme heat or freezing)
• For long-term storage keep battery at ~50 percent charge
• Never expose the battery to water or wash directly
• Allow battery to cool down before charging after a ride
• Check connector ports regularly and keep them clean

• Use a voltmeter or track a noticeable drop in riding range

• Couriers usually leave a delivery slip or send an email or text
• Your parcel may be taken to your local post office or scheduled for redelivery
